Lubbock, TX | 2015

porcelain, dimensions variable

Originally intended to exist upon open bodies of water, I took the challenge to bring this piece into a gallery space in 2015. On the drive from Atlanta, GA to Lubbock, TX, I stopped several times to record the porcelain spheres floating in rivers, ponds, and pools. The expression of this project in the gallery included the porcelain objects, layers of salt, and video projection.
